Whether you are the result of a phasing experiment gone wrong, a victim of ghostly possession, or a lingering soul incompletely reincarnated into a new body, you have an innate tie to the Ethereal Plane, allowing you to draw power from its spectral mists to fuel your magic.
Some Ghost-Touched use their gifts to establish peace, acting as a medium between the planes and aiding restless spirits in their search for final rest. Others use their abilities for more covert purposes, serving as thieves or spies by slipping through material defenses.
The Ghost-Touched subclass allows a sorcerer to fully utilize the fog-bound transitive plane. By jumping to and from the Border Ethereal, the Ghost-Touched can avoid danger and fuel powerful spells and abilities. Contact with extraplanar travelers has trained the Ghost-Touched to see ethereal denizens and converse effectively with otherworldly creatures. Eventually, the Ghost-Touched can cast spells that can extend through planes, and even possess a body by occupying it’s corresponding location on the Ethereal Plane.
Besides the subclass, this product also includes a table for Ghost-Touched Quirks, a one-page Ethereal Plane Primer for players and DMs alike, and a new spell: Etherealize, which forces the target to enter the Border Ethereal.
